Description
The Summer's Eve Extra Cleansing Vinegar & Water Douche twin pack contains two ready-to-use Summer's Eve vinegar and water douches of 4.5 fl oz (133 ml) each. It suits anyone who douches only now and then and wants a spare bottle without buying a large box.
Summer's Eve calls this version Extra Cleansing. It is built on vinegar diluted in water, in a formula the brand describes as pH-balanced and gynecologist tested.
Key benefits
- Two bottles: one to use and one spare.
- Pre-filled, sealed solution with nothing to prepare.
- Flexible easy-angle neck and Comfortip nozzle for comfort.
- Not tested on animals, according to the brand.
Key ingredients
- Vinegar: the main ingredient in this version.
- Water: dilutes the solution.
- Citric acid: adjusts the pH.
- Sodium chloride and sodium benzoate: salt and preservative.
How to use
1. Unwrap one bottle.
2. Pull the nozzle up until it clicks; it is not ready before the click.
3. Insert gently no more than 3 inches and squeeze slowly, without closing the opening, so the solution flows out freely.
4. Use sitting on the toilet, in the tub or standing in the shower.
Who is it for?
- Adult women who douche occasionally.
- Not for pregnancy or while trying to conceive, and not a contraceptive.
Tips and important information
- Maximum twice a week; stop if you notice excessive dryness or irritation.
- It does not treat or prevent STDs or PID. The brand notes douching has been associated with PID, ectopic pregnancy and infertility, without it being known whether douching causes them.
- If you have pain, fever or burning on urination, see a doctor instead of self-treating.
