Description
The Remington Vacuum Hair Clipper HC6550 is a home hair clipper with built-in suction that pulls cut hair into an internal chamber as you clip, cutting down on mess on the floor, clothes and sink.
It is a rechargeable cordless clipper and comes with a full set of guide combs for home haircuts at many lengths.
Key benefits
- Hair suction: a removable chamber with a release button holds about 2.25g of hair (around 6mm of growth).
- Strong blades: self-sharpening, titanium-coated blades.
- Many lengths: 11 attachment guide combs, including 1.5, 3, 6, 9, 12, 16, 18, 22 and 25mm.
- No-comb cutting: trims to 1mm, or 0.5mm with the blades held perpendicular to the skin.
- Cordless: up to 60 minutes from a full charge, and it can also run from the adaptor.
How does the vacuum chamber work?
While you clip, hair is drawn through the vacuum intake into the chamber. A typical 12mm haircut may need the chamber emptied two or three times; press the release button and empty it into a bin.
How to use
1. Charge for 4 hours before first use.
2. Fit the right comb and start with a longer length.
3. Switch on and move the clipper slowly against the direction of hair growth.
4. Empty the vacuum chamber when it fills.
5. Clean the blades afterwards and add a drop of oil.
Who is it for?
- Anyone cutting their own or their children's hair at home who wants less loose hair.
- Men who keep a regular short haircut.
- Those who want a cordless clipper with a complete comb set.
Tips and important information
- Only the blades and the chamber's mesh panel may be rinsed under running water; never put the whole unit under the tap.
- Wipe the body with a damp cloth and dry it immediately.
- Long-term use on the adaptor can shorten battery life.
- The genuine Remington Vacuum HC6550 is available in Iraq with cash on delivery.
